Statement

Date: Sept. 10, 2014
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH) released the following statement in recognition of the 13th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks tomorrow:

"On this solemn day, we continue to offer prayers and comfort to the families and loved ones of the nearly 3,000 innocent Americans who were tragically killed on September 11, 2001," said Latta. "While this is a somber anniversary in our country's history, it is also a reminder of the strength of our Nation -- both on that fateful day and in the 13 years since. To all of our first responders, recovery workers, public safety officers, and members of our law enforcement and military who heroically answered the call and continue to protect us today, thank you. May we always remain vigilant and steadfast in our commitment to the liberties and freedoms on which this country stands
