Issue Position

Greg has long supported limiting the size and cost of the federal government and is continuing his fight as our way of life and security are being threatened by a government that has grown too large and spends too much. We don't have deficits because Americans are taxed too little. We have deficits because Washington spends too much. Greg knows that it is wrong to continue racking up trillion dollar deficits every year while we hand the bill off to the next generation. That's why he supports an amendment to the Constitution that would require Congress to pass a balanced budget each year. The federal government should have to tighten its belt and balance its budget the same way families and small business owners do every month.
