Issue Position

I say "yes" to creating jobs, which is the number one concern of the citizens of District 8.

I say "yes" to smart government, not big government. That means making foreign trade agreements that actually benefit us, so jobs and innovation thrive in America, and "Made in USA" appears proudly on products sold around the world. It means lowering taxes on small businesses, so they can make jobs. It means investing in our teachers, our law enforcement officers, and the construction workers who will rebuild our nation's infrastructure. From labor unions to corporate CEO's, small businesses to Federal Employees, I know that we can create jobs by investing in ourselves, in each other, and by focusing on the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit that makes America the greatest economic engine in the history of the world. It means embracing the spirit of Yes.
