Yolanda Dentley knows what it takes to ensure a positive and productive educational experience for students. As an administrator (Vice Principal) and former public school teacher for grades ranging from kindergarten to twelfth, she understands all aspects of child development and both sides of policies and procedures that go into the education of our young people. She also understands the debate between public schools vs. charter schools.

Yolanda believes every child should have the opportunity to experience the best education our tax dollars have to offer and will seek the legislation and funding necessary to rebuild low achieving schools. She seeks to participate in the revision of curricula through the Common Core Standards that best motivates students, with an emphasis on individual as well as group achievements.

Yolanda's goal is to be part of the changes that will create a 21st Century model of education that will meet the needs of all students.
