The language of federal immigration law is riddled with
contradictions and ambiguity, and it urgently needs reform. The
conflict between state and federal immigration laws must be
resolved - the time has come to move federal immigration reform
forward. I believe this can be done by developing a path to
citizenship with strict accountability, upholding America's security
and rule of law while working to right the system and unite
families, as well as by passing the DREAM Act.
