Out of control does not even begin to describe Washington DC. Current revenue exceeds the 2008 budget. Government was bloated and excessive then. Let's roll back to '08 levels of spending and start with a balanced budget. Whatever entitlement spending is not covered under this scenario will be reviewed. The Balanced Budget Amendment must be passed. If Congress does not have the will to rollback to'08 expenditure levels, then at a minimum we should not fail in putting the "penny plan" in place where we begin cutting the size of government by 1% per year until the budget is balanced. We must stop this insane deficit spending or we will soon go bankrupt.
