Location: Charleston, WV

Shelley Moore Capito was endorsed this week by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), a group dedicated to expanding opportunities for women entrepreneurs.

"Congresswoman Capito's record shows she understands the important role entrepreneurs play in our economy. We are proud to lend our endorsement to Congresswoman Capito and look forward to seeing her continue her efforts on behalf of small business owners in the U.S. Senate," said Darla Beggs, NAWBO National Board Chair.

Capito also recently earned the endorsement of HuntPAC, the bipartisan political action committee of the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce.

HuntPAC is the second organization after the West Virginia Coal Association that supported Natalie Tennant for Secretary of State in 2012 but is now backing Shelley Moore Capito. Capito is also endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Businesses and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in the general election.

"I am extremely grateful for the endorsements of these organizations, which share my commitment to growing and protecting jobs and small businesses," said Shelley Moore Capito. "Standing up for West Virginia starts with fighting President Obama's job-killing policies and working to create an environment where our economy, our small businesses and our people can thrive."

These endorsements underscore Shelley Moore Capito's proven record of working for West Virginia businesses, families and jobs. Last week, Shelley kicked off her West Virginia Works Tour focused on highlighting her pro-growth record and her vision for getting the state back to work.
