I vow to vote NO on any bill that is presented for a vote or amended so quickly that I have not been given sufficient time to read, understand, and evaluate the impact the legislation may have on the American people.
The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) is a prime example of the social and economic havoc that comes from voting without reading the legislation. The ACA, consisting of more than 2,000 pages, was revised, amended and passed within a matter of hours.
