Issue Position: Jobs

Issue Position

With an economy under attack by the Obama administration in Washington, it is critical that Southwest Virginia send representatives to Richmond who will do everything they can to protect and create jobs for the citizens of our area. That is exactly what Ben Chafin has been doing in the General Assembly. A strong supporter of projects like the Clinch River State Park, Ben sponsored a budget amendment to help create it and bring 150 jobs to the area. Ben will focus on eliminating job-killing regulations, making sure Virginia's state government lives within its means so citizens and businesses aren't taxed more, and that state government partners with our local job creators and communities to promote recruitment and expansion of more jobs.
