Act 84/HB 254 of 2012, among other things, extended and expanded the automated red light enforcement program in certain cities and municipalities. It also extended the enforcement of on-street parking in cities of the first class (Philadelphia). The Automated Red Light Enforcement (ARLE) program has generated $8.4 million in grants for infrastructure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This revenue continues to grow on annual basis.
