Issue Position

I support keeping our neighborhoods safe and healthy for our families to thrive. I supported legislation to increase penalties for child endangerment (SB160) and drafted language that brought a bill to the floor of the House to create an ombudsman position to give families with children who suffered abuse a resource when navigating Child Protection Services. (HB76). As your representative I will work to keep dangerous criminals behind bars and away from our children and homes. We also need access to basic services such as police, fire fighters, and emergency medical services. These are basic needs every community relies on and I will strive to keep them strong and responsive.
