Issue Position: Responsible Natural Resource Development and Lower Energy Costs

Issue Position

Serving in the Legislature, I have seen firsthand the incredible benefits that Montana can receive by responsible use of our natural resources. Average wages are dramatically higher in these industries and the incredible tax base is a benefit to all Montanan's as we have seen by the record cash reserves the State has recorded. We need to continue to support all of these to help lower the cost of energy to our citizens.

Goals for the upcoming session:

-I will support proposals that allow the private sector to develop energy resources in environmentally responsible ways.
