I support the 2nd amendment 100%.

The freedom to bear arms is an important individual right granted in the United States Constitution.

I support getting rid of handgun registration. It only inhibits or discourages lawful handgun owners from buying handguns and does not help in solving crimes. Furthermore, I support measures like SB 59 of 2012, which would open previously gun-free zones like stadiums, universities, schools, churches, and hospitals to law-abiding citizens with concealed-carry permits. Such a law only will allow legal gun owners in those places to further inhibit crime. Let's face it: a school shooter doesn't stop at the door with his gun because the front door said "no guns allowed." A teacher, however, will obey the law. SB 59 must be passed so that gun-free zones become CRIME-free zones.
