Issue Position

Agriculture is a vital part of the 4th District Economy and I believe the family farmer is one of the most important forces in our local economy. Sadly, Washington DC has largely forgotten the family farmer -- what those in DC forget is that the family farmer feeds the US and in many ways the rest of the world. We need to ensure that opportunities exist for Kansas farmers without the federal government regulating and mandating them out of business. The government should adopt a policy to let the market work for our agriculture producers without manipulation
