House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) applauded the House passage today of H.R. 5021, the Highway and Transportation Funding Act of 2014 sponsored by Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI).

"While I am glad the House was able to pass a transportation package that keeps important road and bridge projects going in the short term while protecting tens of thousands American jobs, there is more work to be done. We must now come together to develop a long-term solution, ensuring a lasting infrastructure network for American families. I commend Chairmen Camp and Shuster for their efforts and look forward to working with my colleagues on important next steps."
