Issues: Guns Health and Health Care
I am a pistol permit holder myself and strongly believe in the importance of understanding and respecting firearms through training and education. It is important for us as a state to protect the rights of our law-abiding citizens who own firearms for sportsmanship, hunting or collecting.
The issue of gun violence has shown time and again that mental health is the key underlying problem. We must explore aggressive reforms to our mental health system to identify and treat individuals with a propensity for violence on a mass scale.
