Issue Position

As a former early childhood educator and technical college instructor, Lisa understand the importance of high quality education at all levels. She has a long track record of advocating for quality early childhood, K-12, and higher education for all. She has advocated strongly against the privatization of our education system and has been on the front lines fighting the Governor's attempts to move public school funding into an unaccountable private voucher school program. Lisa believes that access to quality education is at the core of our state's economic success. As your State Representative, Lisa will work to ensure adequate funding for our public schools, technical colleges, and the University of Wisconsin. She will continue to fight the privatization of our public schools and will work to make college more affordable and reduce student loan debt.
