Helping the private-sector create and retain jobs here in the Northwoods will be my top priority in Madison. This includes streamlining mining regulations to allow for environmentally-sound mining, which could create thousands of jobs in Wisconsin. I also understand the importance of a strong tourism industry in our region.

I know that the conservative policies that the legislature and Governor Walker are putting in place are helping business and consequently, creating jobs for the people of the 35th District. By cutting taxes and putting more money in peoples' pockets, it is easier for businesses to hire more workers. They trust that we are doing all that we can in Madison to get people back to work. After a successful election in November, I will go back to Madison and continue this fight.
