Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) issued the following statement on House passage of H.R. 6, the Domestic Prosperity and Global Freedom Act.

"This legislation takes important steps to expedite exports of U.S. liquefied natural gas to our global allies, including Ukraine and other Eastern European nations who are currently at the mercy of Russian energy supplies. By acting now, we can send a message to our allies that a stable and secure energy supply will be available as an alternative to meet their energy needs. This legislation serves our national security interests well and will allow for the creation of more jobs and energy independence in America. It's good for our economy and I commend Rep. Gardner for his leadership on this important effort." -
