Rep. Bruce Braley (IA-01) today issued the following statement after reports of high water and flooding in multiple regions across Iowa:
"Iowans know better than anyone how to handle the dangers associated with rising river levels and flooding. My thoughts are with those in threatened areas--and I will continue to monitor the situation in the hours and days to come. I stand ready to work with Governor Branstad and local officials to help in any way possible and to advocate for all needed federal resources should they become necessary."
