Congresswoman Nita M. Lowey (D-Westchester/Rockland), Ranking Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee, released the following statement in reaction to the deaths of three kidnapped Israeli teens: Naftali Fraenkel, Eyal Yifrach, and Gilad Shaar.

"Our hearts are broken by this appalling act of terrorism against three innocent Israelis, and our prayers are with all of their family members in Israel and the United States. President Abbas must make clear that such extremism will not be tolerated, and lead the effort to hold accountable every single person who played a role in this evil act."
