Issue Position

Farms, vineyards and orchards are an important part of Central New York's economy and our heritage. Every New Yorker benefits from the ready supply of safe and high quality food that these producers grow. More than 7,000 jobs are supported by the region's agriculture and ensuring the continued health of our agriculture community is essential to economic growth for Central New York.

We need to make sure that our farmers and producers have access to the resources, infrastructure, services and markets they need to keep farming a viable way of life in Central New York.
