Tennessee has the second lowest cost of living in the United States. That is a start, but Clark believes we can do even better. That is why he steadfastly opposes a state income tax, supports the phased repeal of the estate tax, and wants to reduce the sales tax on food. Clark will also work to provide relief from the Hall Income Tax on investments and oppose any efforts to increase the state gas tax.
