Linda Gray introduced the first ignition interlock bill 13 years ago for extreme and repeat offenders. This important legislation is now required for all convicted DUI offenders. Arizona saw a 17% reduction in fatalities after the implementation of this law:

* The offender pays the cost

* The offender has to blow into the device each time that person needs to start his/her vehicle; every quarter the daily data is downloaded and the information is available to the judge
