Press Release

Date: Dec. 31, 2013
Location: Jackson, GA

Businessman Mike Collins today announced he will report a little over $150,000 in receipts to his Congressional campaign in Georgia's 10th District during the three-month period ending December 31, 2013.

"As the campaign becomes more organized and more people begin to discern the differences among the candidates, donations have started to pick up," said Collins spokesperson Lizbeth Mabry. "Our goal from the start has been to run an aggressive grassroots campaign but our fundraising success is going to allow us to mount an effective ad campaign as well."

As the last candidate to enter the crowed, six-candidate field last May, Mike Collins has raised a total of $321,506. After Q4 expenses of $32,638, the campaign remains with $232,195 cash on hand going into the election year.

Recent polling in this race to replace Paul Broun shows Collins leading with a majority of voters undecided.
