Congressman Tierney Marks the One Year Anniversary of the Boston Marathon Bombings

Congressman John F. Tierney today released the following statement marking the one year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings:

"We solemnly remember the senseless violence that struck the Boston Marathon one year ago. My thoughts remain with the victims who are still recovering from this tragedy and with the families of those who lost their lives in this terrible attack. Today, I joined Vice President Biden, Governor Patrick, Mayor Walsh, and all of my colleagues in the Massachusetts delegation in expressing appreciation to the countless first responders, medical professionals, and volunteers who assisted in the response effort. Today's tribute event in Boston was a testament to the courageous and enduring spirit of the people of Boston and the entire Commonwealth of Massachusetts," said Congressman John Tierney.
