In an effort to employ more veterans on Capitol Hill, U.S. Congressman Bill Enyart (IL-12) joined a bipartisan delegation today for the formation of the new Veterans Congressional Fellowship Caucus.

The purpose of the caucus is to promote and encourage the hiring of America's veterans on Capitol Hill. "As a veteran myself, I'm excited to be a part of this founding group," said Enyart. "But more importantly, I am pleased to see a strong effort and support for hiring our veterans."

Before being elected to Congress, Enyart served as the Adjutant General of the Illinois National Guard. He brings 35 years of military service experience to his appointment to the U.S. House Armed Services Committee.
