Congressman Doug Collins (GA-09) appeared on Fox News Channel on Sunday to update viewers on the latest in the investigations into Benghazi and the IRS targeting scandal. When asked by Fox's Shannon Bream about whether he favors moving forward with contempt proceedings, Congressman Collins said: "It is time for her to be held in contempt." Collins added, "The problem is this: they need to make this a priority. This is something that is disturbing people."
In response to the politically-motivated criticism of the investigations, Congressman Collins added, "If the Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee are tired of doing their job as congressmen, then they need to turn in their voting cards and let somebody else do it. We need to continue to investigate for the American people."
Congressman Collins summed it all up: "It's not about partisan politics, it's not about witch hunts, this is about people."
