Brady Responds to Ohio Electoral Vote Challenge
January 6, 2005

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Congressman Kevin Brady (R-The Woodlands) issued the following statement regarding the challenge by Congressional Democrats to Ohio's electoral votes:

"Like a frivolous lawsuit, this challenge has no merit and is extremely divisive. Americans spent the past two years in vigorous debate over who would serve as President. The election is over. The President won Ohio by 118,000 votes in a state where both parties jointly run the local elections.

"At some point you have to move on, especially since we've got some big challenges facing America that we need to work together on solving."
