Issue Position

Voting rights are the foundation of our democracy. Chipping away at voting rights by making it more costly, more inconvenient, or more confrontational is a violation of the principles this country was founded upon. Everyone deserves to exercise their right to participate politically in this most fundamental of rights without unnecessary and unreasonable outlays of time, money or energy. In Montana, we must be particularly attentive to protecting access to the ballot box for rural and Native Americans voters.
