The tragic crash of Continental Connection Flight 3407 in Western New York in 2009 highlighted glaring weaknesses in our nation's aviation safety regulations. Working with the Families of Flight 3407 and the entire Western New York Congressional delegation, Brian went into action to pass critical reforms -- the Airline Safety and Federal Aviation Administration Extension Act - in 2010 to make our skies safer and to prevent others from experiencing any similar losses. Brian continues to fight to ensure that the Federal Aviation Administration implements these reforms in as timely a manner as possible and remains vigilant against efforts to slow down or weaken these needed safety reforms.
