Rep. Bruce Braley (IA-01) today issued the following statement on the recent events that have taken place in Ukraine.

"Russia's aggressive actions against the people of Ukraine are unacceptable and in clear violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and accepted principles of international law. These actions pose a threat to stability in Eastern Europe. The United States should work with our allies to resolve this crisis, minimize casualties and humanitarian suffering, and prevent future violence in the region."
