I don't really view national borders as particularly meaningful. But if we must have them, let's make an immigration policy that is less ridiculous.

Currently, those who invest over a million dollars in the American economy have a much shorter wait time for citizenship. To me, this idea is great, but I believe that the required amount should be lowered, to say $20,000. In other words, those who invest over $20,000 in the American economy would have a shorter wait time. They would still have to go through all the same background checks and tests; they would just have a shorter wait time. In addition to attracting those who want to come to America for its opportunities, not its welfare, this policy will allow immigration to add directly to the American economy.
