People should have the freedom to marry whom they love
Legal rights and responsibilities should be accorded regardless of sexual orientation
As rights are recognized by more States, Federal legislation needs to be considered

The citizens of Maryland have voted to enact Marriage Equality in our State, and when I am in Congress I would support this for the entire country. It is time to end discrimination based on sexual orientation.
