You don't have to be an economist to understand that Congress cannot go on borrowing 40 cents out of every dollar it spends. And you don't have to be a Political Science Professor to understand both Democrats and Republicans are responsible. Congress has borrowed and spent until we're now sitting on a fiscal time bomb. What it takes to make spending cuts is simple: Political Courage. And we have to support leaders who have that kind of courage.
