It is a false choice to say that we have to choose either a healthy environment or a healthy economy -- we need -- and we can have -- both. We need to:

enhance national security by investing more aggressively in clean energy to curtail our dependency on foreign oil.

acknowledge once and for all the threat of man-made climate change and acknowledge its role as a factor in policy decisions.

mandate transparency for any entity seeking to discharge or inject any chemical or substance into our air, water or ground: nothing that goes into our air, water or ground should be a secret.
