Issue Position

For far too long West Virginians have been misled, believing a strong economy is achieved only at the expense of their air, land, and water. The recent chemical spill into the Elk River exemplifies the fallacy of that belief. Quality of life is as essential to human health as it is to a healthy economy. I will fight for common sense regulations to protect our vital natural resources, demand these regulations are enforced, and promote a diverse economy that attracts new business and fresh talent to our beautiful state.
