Rep. Bruce Braley (IA-01) released the following statement after reports that the community of Northwood was being evacuated due to a chemical fire:

"My thoughts and prayers are with the community of Northwood this morning as they respond to this incident," Braley said. "I will continue to monitor the situation in my district and stand ready to work with local and state officials to help in any way I can."
