Statement by Senator Pryor On Restoring Retirement Pay for Arkansas Men and Women in Uniform

Statement

Our state is the home of nearly 255,000 veterans who have put their lives on the line, often far away from their homes and families, to protect our nation and defend our way of life. We've made a commitment to them, and we need to honor that commitment. I was proud to help lead the charge in the Senate to ensure our military retirees receive the benefits they've earned. I'm glad the House turned off the politics and helped us get this bill over the finish line. That being said, there's still work to do. We must find a permanent and responsible solution for our future military retirees.
