LoBiondo: President's Speech Set the Tone for Nation
January 20, 2005

National Unity and 'Liberty for All' Set High Goals for America

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Rep. Frank A. LoBiondo (NJ-2) released the following statement on the nation's inauguration of George W. Bush as president of the United States.

"Our nation today honored the democratic process and the peaceful transfer of power," said Rep. LoBiondo. "I am reminded of the enormous challenges and awesome responsibilities that face all of us in public service as we work together to move America forward. President Bush's speech set the tone for the nation. I strongly support his assertion that America's freedoms are strongly linked to those of other nations, and I was pleased to see the president focus on unity, and bringing the country together."
