President Obama this afternoon announced another administrative fix to his health care law. Congressman Rothfus issued the following statement in response:

"President Obama's latest administrative "fix' is too little and too late," said Rothfus. "More than 200,000 Pennsylvanians have been notified that they will lose their health plans. By contrast, only 2,207 people have enrolled in Pennsylvania's federally-run exchange to date.

"It is clear that the health care law is not living up to the President's promises, nor is it working for the American people. We need health care reform. But, we need reform that expands access to care and reduces costs. The Empowering Patients First Act and the American Health Care Reform Act are good places to start."
