Congressman Crowley Statement on Super Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda that Struck the Philippines

Today, Rep. Joe Crowley (D-Queens, the Bronx), Vice Chair of the Democratic Caucus, released the following statement on Super Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda:

"My thoughts and prayers are with the people of the Philippines and all those affected by this devastating storm. We mourn with those who lost loved ones, homes and businesses. The road to recovery will be long, but the strength of the Filipino people will persevere.

"My heart is also with the members of the Filipino-American community here in Queens as they anxiously await updates from family and friends affected by this tragic storm. We stand with you in support during this uncertain time."
