Nevada Senator Harry Reid released the following statement after news that Dr. Neal Smatresk will be leaving the University of Nevada, Las Vegas:

"It saddens me to see Neal leave the University of Nevada, Las Vegas," said Reid. "Since Dr. Smatresk has been at UNLV, he has been a terrific partner with the community in Las Vegas, and he has always been a willing partner in co-hosting the National Clean Energy Summit. I thank Neal for his work and friendship; his accomplishments have certainly made UNLV a better institution, and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
