Issue Position

Helping Washington businesses create more jobs. My focus as a public servant has always been to let job creators do what they do best by making sure government is not a hindrance to economic growth. I also sit on a national task force for Commerce, Insurance and Economic Development where I can help business in a local, state and national arena.

Building our future through better education -- It's time that Olympia prioritized education with our first dollars rather than our last dimes. We need strong educational policies to build a strong workforce for the future.

Keeping the 26th District Moving, Healthy & Safe -- I currently serve on the House Transportation Committee and where I am working to help local businesses with congestion relief, freight mobility & public/private partnerships. I also am working hard to prevent toll increases on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. I must also add that public safety is always critical -- law enforcement, corrections, emergency management and protection of our most vulnerable citizens.
