Issues: Taxes

For too many middle-class families and seniors in New Jersey, property taxes are the driving reason our state is becoming increasingly unaffordable. The Inverso Team is dedicated to tackling the root causes of high property taxes through reforming government and taking corruption head on.

Business-as-usual politics in New Jersey have greatly increased the cost of government -- local governments pay high prices for services in exchange for campaign contributions. Senator Peter Inverso was the original sponsor of the Pay-to-Play reform and it's time for both parties to work together to close these loopholes that inflate government contracts and your property taxes.

The Inverso Team has a proven record in fighting for more transparency and less cronyism in government. In the State House, they will fight for the reforms that we need to lower the cost of government and the property taxes we pay.

Team Inverso supports Governor Christie's property tax cut proposal will bring the relief that all New Jersey residents need. This proposal would phase in the 10% property tax relief plan and restore the Earned Income Tax Credit to 25%. These relief measures are aimed at helping those New Jerseyans who need it most -- homeowners and middle income families and seniors. New Jersey families need relief and they need it now.
