In the event of a federal government shutdown, U.S. Rep. Steve Chabot (R-Westwood) will reduce staffing to the minimum level necessary to perform the essential constitutional responsibilities of Congress beginning at 12:01 a.m. on October 1, 2013, as required by law. The Washington, D.C. and downtown Cincinnati offices will remain open but operations will be limited to essential functions. The Warren County office will remain closed for the duration of any shutdown.
Constituents requiring assistance in the event of a personal emergency may contact the Congressman by email at email@example.com. We will respond as quickly as possible.
