Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) released the following statement today on the plane crash that occurred in East Haven this morning:

"My heart goes out to those aboard the plane and the family at home when the crash occurred. And a heartfelt thank you goes to the first responders who rushed to the scene and contained the fire. I am glad the National Transportation Safety Board is already at the crash site and urge them to move quickly on their investigation so we can find out exactly what happened. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this unspeakable tragedy."
