Congressman Kennedy Announces $295,200 for Taunton Municipal Airport - King Field

Congressman Joe Kennedy today announced that the Taunton Municipal Airport -- King Field will receive a grant totaling $295,200 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The funds will be used to help the airport plan for future improvements.

"For nearly a century King Field has been an economic engine for the entire Greater Taunton Area," said Congressman Kennedy. "This FAA grant will ensure that the airport is able to maintain the top-notch transportation infrastructure that so many local businesses have come to depend on. I congratulate Chairman Fred Terra and the King Field Commission on earning this award."
