Ravi Bhalla is a product of New Jersey public schools. That's where he learned the value of hard work and a good education, and that's why he is fighting against the massive school cuts resulting is layoffs across the county. Less teachers means higher class sizes, and higher class sizes equates to lower test scores. If New Jersey wants to maintain its competitive advantage in the new, global marketplace, we need to improve our education system.

That's why Ravi Bhalla stood in solidarity with the teachers at the local Jersey City School Board meeting. If the Governor continues his war on education, then we will need a real ally to stand up against his policies; someone with the guts and integrity to vote against these regressive budget cuts. We need Ravi Bhalla in the New Jersey State Assembly.
