Congressman Collins reacts to news of IRS targeting conservative non-profits

"As if Americans need another reason to be skeptical of the IRS, today's admission that the agency targeted conservative leaning non-profits for extra tax document scrutiny is truly stunning. Instead of engaging in a political witch hunt by singling out non-profits with different politics than the President, the IRS should be working to make the tax preparation process easier for hardworking taxpayers and small business owners - especially as this administration continues to burden taxpayers with new and cumbersome regulations like ObamaCare. I am pleased the leadership of the House Ways and Means Committee has pledged to launch an aggressive investigation in this matter."
